CAJLE 2015年次大会研究発表募集

CAJLE(Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education: カナダ日本語教育振興会)は一年に一回、
講演、教師研修、研究論文発表、総会、懇親会などを組み入れた大会を開催しています。
日本語教育、日本語学に関する情報や意見を交換し、参加者同士が親睦を深めながら学ぶ、
貴重な場となっています。
次回2015年の年次大会は、下記の通り、ブリティッシュコロンビア州のバンクーバーにて開催されます。

 研究発表は、日本語教育、日本語学、継承語教育などの理論的考察、実践報告、また教材開発などを扱ったもの、
特に大会テーマに関わる発表を歓迎します。発表は、口頭発表(発表20分、質疑応答10分)あるいはポスター発表(90分)のいずれかとし、
発表言語は日本語、英語、あるいはフランス語とします。

 大会後ProceedingsをCAJLEホームページに公開します。
過去のProceedingsはこちらからご覧になれます。また、大会発表の中からジャーナル投稿にふさわしい研究を選抜し
Journal CAJLE vol. 17(2016年夏発行予定、査読審査付)への投稿案内をいたします。

応募資格:

 発表者は当会会員に限ります。共同発表者も含め応募時に入会手続きがお済みでない場合は、選考の対象となりませんので、ご注意下さい。
入会案内はこちらをご覧ください。なお、共同発表を含めて、応募は一人一題までとします。

 

応募方法(口頭発表・ポスター発表とも):

 

1)   要旨(ファイル添付):MS Word file (.docまたは.docx) で、ファイル名を“CAJLE2015_title” にして下さい
     (titleは英語または仏語の発表題目の最初10文字。単語はunderscoreでつなぐ。
     例:“What is Lost in Translation?” という題目の場合、 “CAJLE2015_What_is_Lost”となります)。
     応募時の要旨を大会当日の配布資料に掲載します。

    a) 発表題目:日本語(Mincho, font size 12)と英語(Times New Roman, font size 12)、
                 または日本語と仏語(Times New Roman, font size 12)。
    b) 発表要旨:発表言語で作成。日本語要旨は700字以内(Mincho, font size 12, single-space)、
                 英語・仏語要旨は350語以内(Times New Roman, font size 12, single-space)

2)  発表・応募者に関する情報(メール本文に以下を明記)

    a) 発表題目(日本語と英語、または日本語と仏語)

    b) 発表者氏名(日本語とローマ字で筆頭・共同発表者全員のもの)

    c) 所属および職位(日本語と英語、または日本語と仏語で筆頭・共同発表者全員のもの)

    d) 希望する発表形態(口頭発表希望・ポスター発表希望のいずれか)*選考の結果ご希望に添えない場合もあります。

    e) メールアドレス、電話番号、住所(発表者全員のもの)

CALL FOR PROPOSALS: CAJLE (Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education) 2015 Annual Conference

 

  CAJLE (Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education) holds an annual conference which includes lectures and workshops by guest speakers,
as well as research presentations and a general meeting.
  The conference provides a great opportunity for participants to exchange information and opinions on Japanese language education and Japanese linguistics.
The CAJLE 2015 Annual Conference will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Abstract Submission Deadline:  Monday, April 13, 2015

Notification of Acceptance:  Monday, May 11, 2015

 

We invite submission of abstracts for paper presentations and poster presentations on topics including, but not limited to, Japanese linguistics,
 Japanese language pedagogy, Japanese as a heritage language, as well as innovative teaching techniques.
Submissions related to the conference theme are especially welcome.
 The allocated time for each presentation is 30 minutes (20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for discussion),
and posters will be presented in a 90-minute poster session. Presentations may be given in either Japanese, English or French.
We will publish the conference proceedings online.

 

  Please e-mail submissions as attachments in .doc/.docx  (Microsoft Word) file format,
with the following information to: Presentation-Planning (cajle.presentation@gmail.com).
Please specify the subject line as “CAJLE 2015 Proposal.”

 

1)    The attachment

   a. Paper title (in both Japanese and English)

   b. Abstract: 700 letters (Mincho, font size 12, single-space) in Japanese or 350 words (Times New Roman, font size 12, single-space) in English/French

Please name the word file as “CAJLE2015_title” (for the “title” part, use the first 10 letters of your English title.
Ex. “CAJLE2015_What_is_Lost” for the title of “What is Lost in Translation?”). Your abstract must be in the language of your presentation.

 

2)    In the email

   a. Presentation title (in both Japanese and English, or in both Japanese and French)

   b. Name(s) of the presenter(s) (in both Japanese and English, or in both Japanese and French; list all co-presenters),

   c. Affiliation and title (in both Japanese and English, or in both Japanese and French; list each co-presenter’s information),

   d. Preference for presentation type: please indicate either “oral presentation preferred” or “poster presentation preferred”.
     We will accommodate preferences as space allows.

   e. E-mail address, phone number, and mailing address (of all presenters)

 

Individuals may submit only one proposal as presenters or co-presenters.
Presenters, including co-presenters, must be members of CAJLE. 
Non-members will be required to submit a membership application prior to submitting a proposal.  Membership information is here.

 

After the conference, selected presentations will be invited to submit for a referred publication in Volume 17 of the Journal CAJLE (to be published in summer of 2016).
 These submissions will undergo a separate review process set by the standards of the journal.
