미야베 미유키의 사회파 미스터리를 통해 본 ‘2.26 사건’ ― 『가모우 저택 사건』을 중심으로 ―
본 고는 미야베 미유키의 미스터리 소설 속에 나타난 ‘2. 26 사건’의 양상과 의미에 대해 가모우 저택 사건을 중심으로 고찰한 논문이다. 작품은 ‘타임트립’이라는 가공 의 장치를 통해 ‘2. 26 사건’이 일본 근현대사의 거대한 흐름 속에 존재하는 ‘전철기’라 는 기존의 역할을 넘어서, 혼란의 시대를 살아가는 청년들간의 교류의 계기로 작용하 고, 서로의 삶을 긍정적인 방향으로 전환시키는 ‘전철기’의 역할을 담당하고 있음을 보 여주고 있다. 그리고 이 같은 양상을 통해 ‘청년 장교들의 숭고한 의지’ 등에 포커스를 맞춰온 기 존의 ‘2. 26 사건’에 대한 문학적 접근 방식과 달리, 청년 장교들이 주축이 된 그 사건을 경험하고 그 시대를 살아가던 사람들과, 사건을 바라보며 현재를 살아가는 사람들의 모습에 초점을 맞추고 있다는 차별성 또한 확인할 수 있다. 작품에서 그려지는 ‘시간 여행’이라는 초능력의 의미는 실제 우리가 역사를 연구하 고 분석하는 행위의 메타포라 할 수 있을 것이다. 무기력한 모습으로 현재를 살아가던 한 청년이 ‘2. 26 사건’ 당시로의 타임트립을 경험함으로써 삶을 바라보는 자세에 큰 변화를 맞이하고, ‘살아간다는 것의 의미’에 대해 진지하게 의문을 제기하며, 그 해답을 찾기 위해 역사를 탐구하는 작업을 시작한다는 양상을 통해, 본 작품은 역사를 탐구하 는 행위가 불확실한 현재를 살아가는 젊은이들에게 삶의 방향을 전환하게 해 줄 하나의 열쇠로 작용할 수 있음을 시사하고 있다고 볼 수 있다.

Miyuki Miyabe's Socialist Mystery Shows ‘2. 26 incidents’ : Focusing on ‘Kamoutei Ziken’
In this paper, the aspect and meaning of the ‘2. 26 Incidents’ was examined, focusing on the ‘Kamoutei Ziken’. This work uses a fictitious device called ‘time trip’ to help exchanges between young people living in a chaotic era and to make each other's lives positive, rather than a turning point in the huge flow of Japanese modern history. It shows that it plays the role of a switch that changes direction. And through this aspect, unlike the existing literary approach to the ‘2. 26 Incidents’, it can also be confirmed that the young officers focus on the people who experienced the incident and lived in that era, and the people who live in the present looking at the incident. The meaning of the psychic power of ‘time travel’ in the work can be said to be a metaphor for our actual act of researching and analyzing history. A young man living in the present in a lethargic state experiences a great change in his attitude toward life by experiencing a time trip to the time of the incident, earnestly raising questions about the ‘meaning of living’, and finding the answer. Through the aspect of starting the work of exploring history to find it, this work suggests that the act of exploring history can act as a key to change the direction of life for young people living in an uncertain present.
