창조적 스토리텔링의 방안모색 ─ 『문신(刺青)』을 중심으로 ─
본 연구는 다니자키 준이치로(谷崎潤一郎)의 소설 『문신(刺青)』과 그것을 원작으로 한 네 편의 영화 <문신(SI-SEI)>, <문신(堕ちた女郎蜘蛛)>, <문신(背負う女)>, <문신(匂ひ月のごとく)>로 매체전환 시, 영상콘텐츠인 영화 속에 어떠한 방식으로 변주되었는지 스토리텔링을 중심으로 살펴보고, 네 편의 영화에서 문신이 담고 있는 의미와 영화 속 주요 모티브에 대해 고찰하였다. 21세기에 제작된 네 편의 영화 <문신>은 영상이라는 매체를 이용하여 문신하는 장면을 시각콘텐츠로 담아내며, 문신의 원래 의도와는 동떨어진 자극적인 장면을 통해 여성의 관능미만을 부각시켜 시각적인 쾌락만을 극대화했다는 문제점에 부딪히게 되었다. 이야기 안에서 발생하는 다양한 사건의 연속과정 속에서 명확히 인과관계를 제시하고, 그 안에 독창적인 원인과 결과를 도출하는 것이 중요하고 차용 소재의 명확한 의도만큼은 전달되어야 할 것이다. 모든 분야에서 스토리텔링이 논해지고 있는 현 시점에 매체전환자들은 새로운 글쓰기를 시도하기 전에 연구자들의 글을 숙지, 다양한 영감을 불러일으켜, 창조적인 스토리텔링을 위한 다양한 아이디어 모색의 발판으로 이용하기를 바라고, 거기에 시대적 흐름을 반영했을 때 다양한 매체로의 바람직한 확산이 가능해 질 것이다.

Creative storytelling: Focusing on the novel “Tattoo”
The study dealt with the novel 『Tattoo(刺青)』 written by Tanizaki Junichiro(谷崎潤一郎) and four films based on the novel - , , , . The purpose of the study is to investigate how the novel becomes varied in the movie, video contents when changed to media, focusing on storytelling. And the author examined meaning of tattoo shown on the four films and main motives in midst of the movies. The four films titled created in the 21st century include tattooing scenes, using media of video. But the movies caused a problem because the movies maximized visual pleasure, emphasizing only woman sensuality through provocative scene, far from original intention of tattooing. Clear casual relationship should be suggested in the process of varied events occurred in the story. And then, it would be important to draw unique cause and effect in the relationship. At least, clear intention of borrowed materials should be delivered. Nowadays storytelling is in hot issue in every fields. Therefore, people who change novel into media like film etc. should learn existing writings of other authors to be inspired before trying new writing. It is expected that writings of the other authors would be foothold to explore various ideas for creative storytelling. If era's trend is reflected on them, desirable expansion into various media would be possible.
